Re/DeTrans Canada was an exploratory, qualitative Canadian pilot project that led into the much larger, bi-national mixed-methods DARE study. 962 participants took the DARE study survey. Learn more about the study sampling and recruitment methods:
Update (and videos below)! 962 eligible people took the DARE survey. A majority were living in the US, 79% AFAB, and a large majority bisexual, pansexual, queer, or lesbian. Here's a brief description of how we obtained a large, diverse sample:
