No; hybrids are not even one thing, you have range extension only EV , you have completely ICE drive train and HVAC, all sorts … the suck is risk of carbon monoxide in your home, all the issues buying and servicing a gas engine, the problem with discontinued EV parts and limited service options - worst of both

Folks are not good at math, and most people literally block out their gasoline spending. I rarely can get that out of them. Easy math is know your ~kWh cost. Mine is around 22¢ …. ~4 miles per kWh. ?! Ok use x 10 22¢ x 10 = $2.20 for 4x10 miles is 40 miles. Does your car go 40 miles in $2.20 of gas? Then you point out no oil changes and sketch upsells for injection cleaning, transmission flushes, and the time. (Of course they all heard a home EVSE cost $10,000 )
