@VishnuNDTV AFAIK, no TCAS on UH60. May have had Mode S transponder, but no AIS, ADS(B) or TCAS. Hence no traffic/resolution advisory possible. Military has been loath to adopt these collision prevention aids view secrecy. ADS(B) mandatory for civil ac >5700kg MTOW & cruise spd >250 KTAS.

@vskumarfte We could all learn something fm United Airlines Flight 232 where Capt Al Haynes & crew, with help fm ATC & another crew travelling as pax, summoned all resources inside & outside the ac to pull off an almost impossible, uncharted landing at Sioux City.

@BahadurManmohan IIRC, the first fatal due control rods (not cyclic saturation) happened in 2014 (Bareilly ac, ferrying to Allahabad). Ac spun out of control all the way fm cruise altitude to ground. In Oct 2019, an Army Cdr survived a near fatal in Sikkim sector. 2025 & we're still learning?
