I think he may try, yes. But on the flip side of the coin, I don't think we will see an election this year. They will install their chosen Liberal leader (regardless of their leadership race), and will most likely extend the election period to the fall of 2026 (through various emergency measures).

💯 - same here. Community & Province before country, and life isn't an episode of "Days of our Lives" where we betray our greatest ally (🇺🇸) for the sake of a feigned sovereignty that only enriches the laurentian lot, and keeps the majority running the rat race (aka "middle class").

If I am glad about anything, regardless of how terrible the situation is - at least I can look at the 2019 version of myself and say, "boy did you know very little of what was REALLY going on in Canada". It's better to learn the ugly truth, than to believe in a rose-colored lie through ignorance.

Unfortunately, your 3rd point is probably what concerns me the most. All politicians should be held to account by the people, voter base or not. Until we receive what we voted for ("promises made, promises kept") - especially with our provincial gov't, from the past leadership race to provincial election, they need to be held to account.

@vitamindees They're all going to move manufacturing back to Michigan, if we engage in the tariff war. The "Big 3" are ultra-cost conscious, they'll normally choose the cheaper alternative.
