Egypt has reportedly “closed the door” to any further discussions with the United States regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip; with Egyptian Officials having presented several Plans for rebuilding Gaza without any kind of displacement, at least one of these Plans having been delivered to the Trump Administration. Cairo is said to be “outraged” by Statements from both Israel and the U.S. calling for the totally removal of the Palestinian Population from Gaza, sending a Message to Washington, demanding clarification on recent Comments made by U.S. President Trump, stating that Sanctions could be imposed against Egypt if they refuse to accept Palestinian Refugees.

The reality is that Jordan is of course a Palestinian state. However, we should be very careful what we wish for. The overthrow of the Hashemites by the Palestinian majority of the country could yield a far more powerful and existential threat than Gaza.

What's really atrocious, just incredibly gross, is that the desperation Israelis feel to get back perhaps 30 living hostages, to trade thousands of monsters for them, is that we know, with certainty, that they are being tortured, starved, abused, living in the worst conditions. We KNOW this. And to hear the talking heads all "shocked" at how "gaunt" looking the hostages are is just so disgusting. Your willful ignorance is just insanity.

Ever notice that when Hamas does something really heinous it's all "Israel better not do anything, it'll endanger the hostages!" meanwhile they have nothing to say when hostages emerge looking like they were in camps and talking about how the remaining hostages are chained up and worse off than they were? One of the very legitimate questions, @DavidStrom is why a school with 9x one other school needs the same overhead, since there should be a diminishing marginal amount as you increase the dollars, but 15% overhead is not sustainable. It just isn't, and "don't let them tell you otherwise, they have an endowment" is actually incorrect. America needs to outpace innovation of our adversaries at the moment and there's no profit motive with this amount for the universities to undertake the research. You're contracting the system.

Hamas has grossly miscalculated. One thing Israel really gave the Jewish people was unmitigated pride. Parading our stolen brothers and sisters in front of the world--tortured, emaciated, looking as though they walked out of concentration camps certainly plays well with Palestinians. But Israelis will not let this stand. Our blood is not cheap. Never again. This grotesque display will absolutely have signed the death warrant of Hamas, and perhaps Gaza as a Palestinian state.
