"Let there be a sell off at TGE" - most teams think this way rn. In the old playbook, top teams would line up a bunch of bullish, unexpected catalysts & announcements to go live following an airdrop or mint. To prevent sell pressure + drive new demand. But we're now seeing airdrop apathy. Believers / holders have generally been punished over the last 8 weeks. Now that people know better, the result is every chart gets demolished at TGE. As a result most teams I speak to don't think it's worth deploying any of their news until a few weeks later, once the jeetage is complete, and only the truly die hard people remain. "let the chart flush and then we'll rebuild". It makes sense and I don't blame them.

Maybe you should not ask yourself what the Pudgy/Abstract/Igloo team could have done differently but what is wrong in our space 🤔 Pre-airdrop = best team, heroes, single-handedly bring back NFTs Airdrop = thanks for the free money, gtfo, onto the next one Past-airdrop = idiots, mistakes, failure This is what you get when you financially incentivize everything. You don't have users, you have airdrop farmers ☝️ A spineless spawn of crypto. You have to be completely nuts to be a builder in this space. Builders in web3 today are essentially digital BDSM enthusiasts.
