Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie 22 years ago acknowledging that "institutional racism" — his words — impact NFL's evaluation of, and the largely white media's interpretation of, QBs. Eagles now have an NFL-high 415 games started by a Black QB.
Interesting looking back at Jeffrey Lurie's defense of Donovan McNabb from the 2003 Rush Limbaugh-ESPN affair. Not sure the last time I saw an NFL owner use the term "institutional racism." For those who forgot, or never knew:

@treadmill09 I don't think I blamed Jordan. I said that some of today's anti-Krause sentiment is from The Last Dance bc some younger fans booed, and they were too young to have strong emotions about Krause otherwise. But my main point was regardless of why they did it, they were wrong.

@ronNcaphill Maybe Josh Sweat as a defensive placeholder, but I was fine with Hurts as the recipient. Certainly fits the award's QB-heavy theme.

History in real time is a moving target. Who do I think is the better QB through Year 8? Mahomes. Who do I think is the better QB all-time? Clearly Brady. Where is Brady's difference-making seasons? Year 10 — if not later — and beyond. Don't chase cars.
