The problem is that you can learn law from books and other texts but the procedural aspect is what only a human can teach you. And when a human comes in the picture, the learning becomes rough and sometimes cruel. That’s one of the reasons that most people give up in litigation.

Reality check for law students : If you are going for litigation, remember, don’t rely only on your merits. Doesn’t matter how smart you are, you must have good contacts to open gates for you. I have observed people with average or below avg. merits but doing good in litigation.
