@RobElgasABC7 @PetrellaReports Not sure that anyone got more than impeached at fed level. Disqualification is a separate vote, the political death penalty, after an impeachment conviction. Alcee Hastings was impeached and convicted as a federal judge. But Senate did not disqualify. He later won a House seat.

@RobElgasABC7 @PetrellaReports Don’t think it would get that far. Deference to state constitution and a proceeding overseen by the chief justice of the state Supreme Court. Pardons are criminal matter. Impeachment is not. Blagojevich could have been impeached for being the jerk that he is, with no law broken.
