Man, their family is so blessed.
Apparently, his dad has a wildly popular hair growth formula that's making waves among Makola traders. Little investment here and there and he could be collecting every strand of cedi in the hair industry.
Proper treasure trove in their home!
🚨ICYMI🇬🇭📚: Remember Tyrone Marghuy? The Rastafarian student who was denied admission to Achimota School due to his dreadlocks & later gained it cuz his family took the case to court which they eventually won? Yurp.
He has joined Achimota School’s

team.

Look, we might have differing views from Sarkodie on some matters, but his legacy speaks so well for itself. Consider the impact this would have on these youngsters, even if just one of them knows about him. That's the essence of true legend. Remarkable! 👏🏾
You’re the next biggest disappointment after members of this government. Some days ago, you endured a flight mishap and came here to narrate how bad you felt. Fair. You think in a working Ghana, the airline would go freely for how they treated you and other people on board? Smh.
To put this into simpler context, Goldenvoice is the creator and producer of Coachella. So this is huge for Stonebwoy. Man keeps hitting it bigger and bigger with every gig. Love it so much for him and the industry! 🇬🇭
Reporting news and creating content is truly an art form because just look at this. Seems like they were at a completely different event. So neat and tidy!
Whew!
After months of reflection and failed dance tutorials, I've made the decision to return to my first love: hosting! 🤩
I won’t win as many awards for being your best dancer or cracking the funniest jokes, but I promise to give you a show any day, anywhere. Kindly RT 🙏🏾
Lol I have a story.
Back in 2016, we were testing a new playlist format for an African music TV channel and needed one artist who could fill a 60-minute spot with high quality videos of their hit songs.
Tried the usual suspects, but they barely got us past 45 minutes. 1/2
This is a big deal!
I'm genuinely thrilled for her and what this attempt will do for Ghanaian music. She'll be singing over 3,500 songs for this, and it will be a great way for artists to plug their songs to that playlist and show their support in return.
She's got this! 🇬🇭
🇬🇭🎻Ghanaian woman, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has been cleared to attempt breaking the longest singing marathon in the Guinness World Records

Promoting Ghanaian music, she says, is the big motivation for this journey.

week! 🔥
Haven't seen a Ghanaian business bounce back as impressively as Echo did for this year's Tidal Rave. Bless the people working tirelessly to keep it alive. They truly deserve our love and support. As for those using their small roles to settle scores, we'll address that later lol.
Had too many great moments with the crowd at

made sure we enjoyed ourselves a little too much. 🔥
Lol you see, you don’t make such statements when your A-listers make some of their highest annual earnings from here than they would even in Nigeria and most parts of the world. Live shows, streams, promo spins, and even endless culture taps from this market? Come correct!
Nigerians don't really care about the Ghanaian music industry.
We don't know or relate with your homegrown heroes and their music, except the few who find crossover connectivity within our local market.
Nothing really concerns us. We just don't care and don't see it.
Lol Stonebwoy’s take on this Hiplife article is really unsettling, and it’s probably because it’s a GRAMMY feature. Even if he had a point, there are some reasons a writer like
@NanaKojoMula
might unintentionally leave out certain names in an article with such weight. A thread.
We consistently kill our thinkers and innovators, import and choke on watered-down takes and ideas, and then turn to kick a fuss about how the outsider looks down on us. Lol. Good old Ghana!
Then
@RuddyKwakye
opened the
@iamedem
catalogue. I was speechless. It had over 3 hours of the content we were struggling to find and the quality was off the charts. Hadn’t deeped how huge his works were at the time. That changed instantly. Been a convert ever since. 2/2
Full circle moment here! 😇
Waited days for the album, got stuck on it for days, waited days to see him perform, and now we’re only a few days away to seeing this happen live. Thank you,

I disagree, bro. Ghana has some well-rounded experts who are always looking to put their skills to use. Sadly, they find themselves sidelined because pushing for excellence in this country is often met with resistance. Next thing, they’re out in other markets or switching jobs.
We tell ourselves that investment is the reason why we are not producing at an international level, but honestly, it’s an expertise problem. We don’t know the work as much as we should.
