Raleigh-based neon artist Nate Sheaffer will debut his interactive public art installation at Dorothea Dix Park titled Light the Woods with Sound in May.
Last week, our staff with volunteers from the Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board, and the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Commission held a clean-up event on the Little Rock Creek Trail. 🌍💪 They removed 1,800 pounds of litter! Thank you for your amazing work! 🏆🎉

Update! The Pullen Park Train will reopen to the public TOMORROW Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. The train was closed for annual routine maintenance to the train and track.
We are headed to the park around 2. The best address is 691 Palmer Drive near Lake Wheeler Road and Umstead Drive. We want everyone to enjoy the snow day, but remember safety 1st. Park roads aren't clear. Please don’t drive. Walk, snowshoe or ski and we will see you out there.
