I could not believe it to be true but it is. Checked at the IAA in Munich and the e-tron GT has indeed ventilator tech from 1960 😂

Someone has probably noticed this before but I didn't know.
The Model 3 highland has a L label on the chargeport.
L stands for 200 – 920 V.
My Model Y only has the labels C and K.

It's 2023 and a Tesla can't handle speed limits correctly in Europe.
False map data overrides detected speed signs.
In countries like Austria sign recognition is not enabled on the motorway.

As expected, speed limit handling is completely random with the new 2024 navigation data too.
The infuriating bit is that HW3* can recognize speed limit signs but the system often uses wrong map data instead.

Having the high beams on with oncoming traffic is such a huge win for safety. The oncoming driver is not blinded but you can see the side of the road (🦌🐇🦆🦊).
Before 2024.8 you drove around just with low beams on even after the car passed because the old school auto high
Finally got the adaptive high beams with 2024.8.7.
Off to a first test drive now.

The software I have in my car is not supposed to be in beta.
The point of those assistents is that the car brakes when the driver doesn't.
My experience with Teslas in the last 3 years was that they do nothing when people/animals walk into the road or there is cross traffic.

There are no regulatory issues. This worked in 2021 in cars running VWs software.

Pls fix handling of speed limits in Europe. Very important: 1. Car needs to be at limit at the sign or within 30m behind. 2. City-limit signs = to speed limit of the respective city speed limit in the country. 3. The "cancel all-limits" sign is important too!.

First scenario: No hands on the steering wheel while on Autopilot. A Tesla with the driver passing out won't crash.
Second scenario: Unbuckling while on Autopilot.

A perfect demonstration of Tesla auto wipers not working until rain water reaches the camera area on top of the windshield. (2023.38.6)
Also: The cameras often can't see rain on top of the windshield while the driver is already looking at a rain covered windshield.
Not adding a rain sensor was a mistake.
They still haven't managed to fix lights turning and staying on with active wipers.
