It's worth pointing out that in this case it's *writing* that produced the potency in improvement.
Paul had to actively make mistakes in order to learn quickly; reflection on those mistakes was the catalyst.
Reading is a passive activity, and that has limitations.

The most fruitful approach I've found to answering these questions is to realize the particles as objects in some representation category of some symmetry (group, quantum group etc.).

it's a great idea. We all seem to participate in this collective misunderstanding that we learn best by reading, but it's more likely that we learn best by doing; affording an arena to retrace (or follow) someone else's steps would be game-changing, especially in science

good mathematical exposition usually understand that the process of picking up the particular notation is laborious, and will account for it in their exposition
e.g. Felix Klein's Elementary mathematics from an advanced viewpoint does this, but so do many other texts

Can’t comment on the first, but the second and third are in hindsight "obvious" ( = great) examples.
e.g. a natural extension being the airline industry, or the other places where some high risk endeavour co-evolved with a well-intentioned regulatory body.

not sure if you know this, but actually the route I got into MIT/the US to begin with was by making an educational video game (teaching 9th grade chemistry) and entering it into ISEF... it had hybrid elements from the FPS/MMORPG genres 🤣
so yeah, I'm totally sympathathetic!

I agree it’s mysterious that superposition should hold.
What you’ll find is that the linear state space modeling superposition is some module over a non-commutative algebra, and that algebra captures far more than the state space does.
