@femalephilosphr Same but a different kind. I think there'd be a lot more co-operation between women, when we're not brainwashed to see other women as competition. And men would be expected to help too. Unlike now where they mostly get away with doing hardly anything.

@KnownHeretic @raqaellapaella Okay, come on now. There's a huge difference between holding a woman to account, and effectively excluding her from society by telling her to 'hold it' and stay out of the women's bathroom. I mean, don't we talk about the dangers of the urinary leash all the time?

@KnownHeretic @raqaellapaella But it's clear that we're not going to agree, so thank you for the discussion and I'm out.

@raqaellapaella @KnownHeretic And yes, I am a radfem. And as a radfem, I defend ALL women. Even those who have, for so many different reasons, pretended to be men.

@raqaellapaella @KnownHeretic I already did. I'm sorry you can't read. I have no idea why she would want to. But my question still stands that IF she did, would she be turned away? The answer here seems to be 'yes'.

@raqaellapaella @KnownHeretic It sounds like you're saying that people should use the services for the sex they 'identify as'. I mean, what the hell? Is this really where we are?

@KnownHeretic @raqaellapaella They are also women and girls! And they also deserve to be safeguarded.

@raqaellapaella @KnownHeretic I have no idea why. I just know that we've been fighting for single-sex services, and now all of a sudden it's 'single-sex, except for those women over there'. And all I'm trying to say is that this is a very slippery slope that I really don't think we should be entertaining.

@VenerablePhoenx @KnownHeretic Exactly my point! She is still a woman. So why do some women now think she should be excluded from single-sex services?

@KnownHeretic @AndromedaAlyxx So like, if I walk home at night, which some might consider a dangerous situation, I should expect to get raped? Is that what you're saying?

@raqaellapaella @KnownHeretic No. I am not saying they're 'corrective'. I'm just trying to determine how 'un-womanly' a woman has to get before you all turn her away, and exactly how much you want to turn her away from.

@AndromedaAlyxx @KnownHeretic This reads like victim blaming. Are you saying its these women's fault if they are raped? Because they chose to go into the male toilets?

@KnownHeretic @EiffelKneiffel I understand what you're saying, but I think there are degrees of how much women 'masculinise', even amongst those to claim to be 'trans'. So where do we set the line? Is it a fake pen1s? Facial hair? Who gets to decide?

@KnownHeretic @TalkTervosaurus @Aimee35990577 I'm not saying women shouldn't take responsibility (although I still think 'trans' is a trauma response by a lot of women). I just think this is a dangerous precedent to set, that in a single sex space, some of our sex would be excluded based on appearance.

@KnownHeretic @brad_polumbo @NancyMace But you're not protecting sex. You're only protecting what you think people of a particular sex should look and behave like. So going by your argument, do you think men who 'do everything they can to be read as women' should use the women's then? Because that's where this leads.
