I just learned that I can fine-tune a GPT model with writing samples of my students—then I have a personalized “student’s writing simulator” that I can ask to generate more writing samples from my students without asking them. Now I have a new way of training my advising muscles!

ML/AI/Deep Learning is as much physics as physics is mathematics!. Why don’t we inaugurate an official Nobel prize in math and give that prize instead? (we can keep the Fields medal for real mathematicians!)
