@lefthookqpr @curtiswoodhous8 Come on Jeff you know he’s not refining Ronaldo’s technique to score a free kick😂 most teams will have a set piece coach and most of them will have played a far lower level than any of their players. Doesn’t mean they aren’t any good at their actual jobs.

@lefthookqpr @curtiswoodhous8 Well you presumed he had never played the game at any level and doesn’t understand the game. He played men’s football abroad in Romania and Japan and given he played the game his whole life and has been working as a coach since 2007 I’d hazard a guess he understands a bit.

@jorisbohnson Varane’s limited? 😐

@MarkofGrove Yes agreed but i felt there were lots well outside our box that other midfielders look to regain possession from. Varane wasn’t good when he came on, nor was Lloyd. Subs killed us a little bit today but Varane so obviously shouldn’t be playing that 8 role.

@George__QPR He reads the game well and makes good last ditch defensive tackles. If we didn’t have a far better player on the bench no one would be bothered.

@ruislip_john Yep. Not got much of an issue with Varane 6 Field 8, although it’s a bit clunky it is effective enough.

@jorisbohnson Nothing, bar one nice pass to Yang. Played out of position.

What are we doing with Varane playing further up than Field. Varane is half the player when playing a step higher in the midfield.
