Because being Canadian doesn’t mean shit to anyone unless you’re an immigrant. Then it’s the land of opportunity, free health care and paid benefits. Plus you can sit in a street and pray and block traffic and break the law with no repercussions. Born Canadian means nothing to many anymore.
