At IIMA, we have to read a book named “The Lottery of Birth”, as part of a course.
As the name goes, the book talks about how people tend to attribute their success solely to merit, while ignoring their privilege.
Not everyone likes that book as it questions their privilege :)
When after getting 99.6 %ile, you still don't get into your dream college, that's called pain.
Seen his (GNEM) hardwork, diligence and perseverance for CAT. Really, pondering over the fact that, what does it actually take to get into IIM A.

Heck, people don't have internet access at places. It's not an elite South Delhi High School where only the rich kids go to study. It's a freaking central university with students coming from the remotest of places and having not so privileged backgrounds

DU has literally postponed the exams 3 times just to fix its portal (worth ₹2.5crs).
If everything had to be done through mail itself, why did they waste this much time?

Extremely glad to share that I'll be pursuing the prestigious ITUS Degree. This degree is less heard of, because it's an immensely difficult course. A very few students have been able to complete this course. You have to be very intelligent, and I was one of them.

Ask any student who has taken the exams in the last 2 days if they could have written the answers, scanned their sheets, & uploaded them in just 3 hours.
DU has acted against the interests of students for 5 months now and they are stooping lower each day. This is just cruel now.
Update: University of Delhi has filed an appeal against judgement given in our case. They have a problem apparently with the reliefs given in our case & the High Powered Panel setup by the Hon'ble Court & it's decision to keep monitoring the outcome of OBE, giving one hour extra.

VC firms would hardly ever recruit from a mid/bottom-tier college (not necessarily supporting this but stating the fact as is) - so no, nobody from random courses in DU (pretty or otherwise) is making to VCs.
Every “pretty” girl graduating in random courses from DU is an analyst at a VC firm. Like all of them.
I’m not even kidding.
No engineers. None. All 3 years degree courses graduates, evaluating tech businesses.

Effectively, agar mujhe degree November ke bhi baad milegi, toh ye to 7 semesters ki degree ho gayi.
Bas DU ye 7th sem ki exam na le le. Haan maana kuch padhai to nahi hui, but wo toh 6th sem ki bhi kaha hi hui.

is hell bent on conducting exams, in whatever manner possible, without even conducting proper classes. It's time the students actually speak up - I've had 4-5 online lectures of just 2 out of the 4 subjects. Some students haven't even had 1 class!
