the flame on her chest has its own bone so you can kinda animate it by flipping the flame around i guess lol, i havent tested if it looks good

oh btw I've noticed people like to create new expressions for these, so I've added a blank face texture to make it easier. Also sorry for no blend file.... sketchfab still doesn't support blender 4.0 for some reason.

You're right that would definitely be a cool retro look. :D Though while I might be able to do it in blender, it's kind of like an engine dependent thing and I wouldn't be able to export it to other stuff easily, & if I give the model to someone else the effect won't work etc.

important thing to note about the hood: it's parented to the head, but when it's down it should be parented to the chest. Also, when the hood is down the twintails should be lower (as it is in her concept art). You can kinda tell where they go by the head hair.

They might already be, though? Or close? Puzzle, sports, racing, rythm games, point-and-click adventures, "walking simulators", management games, farming games, dating sims, city sims, pretty much any other "sim", heck even fighting games aren't about killing but winning a match.

Of course just hours after I post them I notice something again, lol. The scale was slightly off compared to the others. So I scaled them down to 95% of what they were and reuploaded. Just FYI if you already grabbed them. Or if you just wanna rescale them yourself, 95% works.

Well yeah, exactly. This type of 3D rendered sprite is explicitly made to look like a 3D render. Not a pixel art image. And the CRT's fuzzyness was the thing that made that possible.
Donkey Kong Country blew our minds cause it looked like the promotional renders on our screens.

Of course it wasn't, lol. But that's what the raw pixels made it look like, compared to what I was used to on my real SNES.
The portrait anime drawings were suddenly a blocky mess. Environments etc, same.
I never understood why anyone wanted to play SNES games that way since.
