I was walking alone late night once and an old man tried to flag me down asking me to call an ambulance but i didnt stop at all. Heard an older woman come up right after me, complaining that i didnt stop and asking if the man needed help and he deadass walked away from her 💀

Had an ER refuse to xray/mri me when i came in saying i couldnt walk, told me i had a pulled muscle, threw me a percocet and had to physically help me to my uber because again, i couldn’t walk
i was back 3 hours later in an ambulance in MORE pain. Two slipped discs in my lumbar
It seems pretty commonplace to believe that disabled and chronically ill people are faking but not that doctors, medical professionals gaslight us about our symptoms? That’s weird…

EXACTLY!!! What makes it worse is that I live in an area with a VERY HIGH rate of sex trafficking. Women/Girls go missing here ALL THE TIME, I was not about to take that risk. I have witnessed women being held hostage in uhaul trucks and all that, there is no room to be nice here
