@milesofleg I do rally with so many people whose dogs cannot do anything outside the ring!! It’s crazy how much better your dog is when you generalize your obedience!! Plus, your relationship is so much better, which people really minimize.

@milesofleg I wish more people took effective STAR, rally, and CGC classes. One of the dogs in my class has her CGC but can’t walk on a leash and pays NO attention to her owner so I know someone just waved her through🫠

@ottergifjanet People think if they train their dogs basic obedience first they won’t have the motivation to run sports and like sure if you beat them!! But you shouldn’t be trying to do sports if you have to chase your dog around the ring for 10 minutes or they can’t hold a sit for 10 seconds.
