Thanks for bringing attention to this! The subway was so important for getting around NYC when I visited with Natalie in November but there were so many obstacles… nonexistent or dirty elevators, narrow stairway entrances (hard to carry her in the stroller up it with people coming the other way), extremely loud tracks, turnstiles too narrow for a stroller and no other way to get in/out. Next time will try to use the carrier instead of stroller but there’s so much that could be made better for parents & kids. Also true for BART in SF.
