The Bengali translation of my English short story collection ‘On the Side of the Angel’, titled ‘Debduter Sanniddhye’, was released today at the Kolkata Raj Bhavan by the Governor of Bengal, Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose.

While attending official events in Thiruvananthapuram, I paid a visit to the Honorable Governor, Shri Vishwanath Arlekar, at the Raj Bhavan. During the visit, I presented him with a copy of my latest book, Heavenly Islands of Goa, along with a pen.

Delivered the policy declaration speech at the legislative assembly today morning.

Today, a floral tribute was offered at the Martyrs' Memorial at Azad Maidan in honor of Mahatma Gandhi's Martyrs' Day. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, along with ministers and other senior officials, attended the event.

Received the D.Litt from Bangalore Alliance University during a ceremony held at the campus auditorium. The University Chancellor, Prof. Premanand Shetty, presented the honor. The university awarded me the D.Litt in recognition of my contributions to the field of literature.

Had a trip yesterday to the beautiful Siddhanath Hill in Borim, Goa. Also visited the very ancient Shiva temple here. State Minister Shri Subhash Shirodkar was also present.

Yesterday, I presented my 244th book, ‘Traditional Trees of Bharat,’ to the Honorable President, Mrs. Droupadi Murmu ji, who arrived in Goa for official purposes.
