Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is an autoimmune Liver disease with no cure. It causes the destruction of bile ducts resulting in cirrhosis. Its progression is different for each individual patient but most end up needing a liver transplant or risk an early death. #PSC

#PSC is a difficult disease to treat - this phase 2 study looked at #simtuzumab for 96 weeks but unfortunately didn’t find any improvement in #fibrosis, progression to #cirrhosis or clinical events
