This morning Prosper ISD celebrated the ground breaking of the third district high school scheduled to open in the Fall of 2024. The new campus, located off of 1st Street on the East side of the district will be named Walnut Grove High School and will be the home of the Wildcats.

Our area received a coating of ice overnight and the temperature does not look to be reaching above freezing anytime soon. With driver safety in mind especially that of our many teenage drivers, we have made the decision to close school for the day.

PISD campuses and offices will be closed Tuesday, Feb 16, and Wednesday, Feb 17, due to inclement weather and unsafe driving conditions throughout the area. All classes, including at-home virtual classes, are canceled. All afterschool activities and events are also canceled.
