This much more accurate honestly. Because self destructive behavior is normally an attempt to hold SOMETHING together. If not the relationship itself, the person's own mental state. They are still going about it wrong, though, which is why some but not all of the blocks fell.

Yes, and they had every right to make that choice. The original rubs me the wrong way, though, mainly because we don't know how long this has been happening, so it comes off like a person should be expected to immediately resolve their trauma responses after a few talks. Like no.

As a black person, as much as I adore and relate to Emily on a personal level, if she is meant to be black, that could have been portrayed better. Like, the only thing you'd really need to do is have her hair look like it's made of clouds tbh

As somebody who absolutely believes Pinkie is black coded, the only hangup I have is that I think her and her family's hair is all naturally straight, which you do see during her cutie mark story. Doesn't really change my mind, though.

I still can't get past that she gave such a wholesome speech about dads to Octavia only to kick Blitzø in the dick the very next time she sees him. I don't hate her, but that episode rubs me the wrong way, especially with the context that it's after the Gluttony Ring episode.

Somebody did a version of this where Blue was trying to hold the block tower together out of fear Pink would knock it over, only to end up knocking some of the blocks over by accident, which feels more accurate to how self sabotage actually works.
