As we close 2024 and look toward the horizon of 2025, we extend our deep gratitude to each of you—storytellers, front-line activists, allies, and leaders—who bring your courage, conviction, and compassion to this shared work. What follows is just a glimpse of the Dandelions driving us toward a climate-safe world. The stories we carry, the actions we take, and the influence we wield are not separate threads but part of a greater tapestry—a global coalition working for a just, livable, and sustainable future for all. Today, we stand together having pinned over 10,000 leaders, alongside 300 organizations, reaching more than 250 million people around the world. This is a moment of convergence. It is a time to raise our voices, amplify those on the frontlines, and drive change with urgency and resolve. The future we envision will only be achieved through collaboration, determination, and an unwavering belief in our collective power.

As we reflect on COP29, which left many feeling the weight of unfinished work, we also recognize the power of hope and resilience. This week, we’re sharing reflections from Dandelions who attended the conference—women whose voices and leadership illuminate a path forward. Their thoughts on lessons learned and aspirations for 2025’s COP30 in Brazil remind us that even in moments of setback, there is space for renewed momentum. Let these perspectives inspire us to carry the light of progress into the year ahead.

Racial justice is a climate issue. @wawagatheru founded @blackgirlenviro (BGE) to address the climate movement’s pathway problem for Black girls, women, and gender-expansive people. By creating space and opportunities, BGE empowers the next generation of climate leaders of color, ensuring they thrive and lead with impact. At Project Dandelion, we believe that amplifying diverse voices is key to climate justice. BGE’s vision is a powerful example of this in action, and together, we’re committed to building a climate movement that’s as inclusive as it is unstoppable.
