@MCJ_Dolph @CarterBoxingMMA Stress fractures are no joke man, prob shouldn’t be training with them but I know it’s hard to stop. I had them in both legs, took a long time to go away

@TedlaJacob Heavy lifting, ballistic training, sport specific cardio conditioning, HIIT. Also check out PowerTraining on YouTube, sports science based Strength and Conditioning channel for Combat athletes, really good stuff.

@jairo_moutinho @Groovystevo2 No, it’s been proven to not be effective, most “sport specific” weighted and resistance training movements arent particularly effective. It’s almost always better to separate strength training and sport specific technique training.

@Groovystevo2 Battle ropes are cardio, decent HIIT tool but nothing more than that. They don’t lead to hypertrophy or strength. Haggerty would be much better off just sparring or running/sprinting for cardio.

@Groovystevo2 the footwork stuff is ok i guess? but it's not even sport specific to mt, and not even really plyo either. he should be lifting heavy, focusing on low rep ranges for strength, and doing ballistic and plyometric training

@Groovystevo2 Resistance punching doesn't increase punching power at all and can actually deteriorate technique and increase fatigue, the rope shit is essentially bs and a total waste of energy, everything he's doing here is total influencer workout bs other than deadlifting.

@RyanAWagMMA I watched his feet for the first time ever this fight and was astounded and how atrocious his footwork is, straight up does all the things you’re taught not to do in striking 101 class. 10x worse than that clip of Jamahal Hill’s feet
