@johnmcdonnellMP John, you have continually had a sensible approach to UK economics and many clever solutions. By now if you had been leader we would be climbing out of this mess. Labour will have to tax the top 5% whether it claims nor it will not do so.

@Keir_Starmer Agree, Johnson is unfit to be in politics. To think some people this week have been lamenting the loss of old Etonians from May's cabinet. Well if Johnson and Cameron were the best of their year that school needed special measures.

@NicolaSturgeon If you turn on BBC Parliament and switch to the Scottish Parliament the speakers from all parties are impressive by comparison to the main ones in Parliament. I'm half Scottish so may be biased but really the Scots are just better speakers. BTW @IanBlackfordMP was fabulous on BJ.

@JohnSimpsonNews Last night on @SophyRidgeSky it was good to hear support for the BBC's impartiality from @Guto_Harri and the wonderful Baroness @HelenaKennedyKC . They, rightly, called Hamas terrorists, but they wanted the BBC to not use the word to keep impartiality. Knew you were right John.

@simon_schama @dlgriffiths If ever there was a need for History graduates it is now. The analysis of the present is never analysis in a vacuum as it comes with trends, knowledge of past histories and a real sense of people's feeling at different periods of time. Only the naive comment without History.

@JohnRentoul Not nonsense that Labour won in Hartlepool twice under Jeremy. It is true. Not nonsense to say Keir Starmer must think again about his strategy as he will do so. And will say so too. One could argue that pushing Remain on Labour reduced the vote under Jeremy and Keir. I voted Rem.

@Rachael_Swindon @Keir_Starmer Bloody hell! I remember listening to the great @johnmcdonnellMP at a Labour SME gala dinner organised by the wonderful @ibrahim_Dogus . @MichaelRosenYes @JWoodcockMP I want to see Jeremy enter No 10 not as a guest but as PM. He has now earned it and the majorities in the constituencies of even his detractors have swollen. People on wages far less than an MPs are relying on a Labour win.

@ThatTimWalker If the Govt. runs the ‘hot’ approach to #COVID19 and the death rate escalates can we run trials like Nuremburg afterwards for the culprits, assuming they survive the second wave, or Tsunami, in the case of a Hot approach? At least a Manslaughter charge.

@HarrietHarman My view of an MP is once they are elected they then become the MP to all their constituents regardless of party. The constituents then need to see MPs as fairly elected representatives doing what they are paid to do, represent the people. To attack an MP is to attack the people.

@JohnSimpsonNews The BBC is great and John consistently great too. The only criticism is perhaps some fear due to the bullying the Blair Govt. began in 2003 and subsequent Tory Govt. have licence fee rattled like sabres over any report they disliked. Utterly shameless appointing of Richard Sharp.
