Today is the first day since April that no one in my family has COVID. After 3 deaths and several illnesses, the oldest, who is 75, had pneumonia and COVID, went home last Friday. Yesterday, I knew she was better because she was fussing. 🧡🧡 Thank you for your prayers 🙏

Won Homecoming Queen in Jr HIgh. Everyone knew it. Wasn't crowned the night of the game. Weeks later ran an errand for my teacher to the coach who oversaw homecoming. He told me "Yea, you're the one. Shoulda won but this school has never had a black one and never will"

Jonah saw my video in May and asked daily if I was coming. He was already gone when I visited during summer scholars.
Today, I walked in and when he turned around he excitedly said, SUPERINTENDENT WRIGHT! Jonah thinks I made his day but he made mine!!

announced the expansion of TEACh Cincinnati to Oyler School and Withrow University High School! The partnership program was piloted last year with Aiken students to address teacher shortages with students receiving dedicated scholarships to Miami.
