Our Neighborhood Response Team recovered this AR-15 rifle with a 100-round magazine, fully loaded, on a traffic stop in the Hazelwood area Wed. morning about 10a. The driver is a felon and also had a pistol, body armor with rifle plates, meth, and fentanyl. He went to jail.
With the assistance of East Precinct Officers, K9 Rex seized 8 pounds of methamphetamine and 11.5 pounds of heroin. Excellent work by K9 Rex and his human partners!

Target was unable to stop a suspect who walked out the door with $1143 worth of merchandise. East NRT officers were in the area and he caught their eye. Once contacted he ran and fought with police before being arrested. He’ll be facing multiple felony charges.

**ALERT** We are seeking the communities assistance to locate a missing 7 year old female. She was inside a Black 2011 Honda Civic and that vehicle was stolen with her inside. There are no plates on the vehicle. 1/2
PPB East Neighborhood Response Team and patrol apprehended a wanted subject. The subject had a short-barrel shotgun, semiautomatic pistol, 74g Meth, approximately 1500 fentanyl pills, 110g cocaine, and 29g heroin. This also lead to the arrest of three other wanted subjects.
East Precinct officers conducted a stolen vehicle mission this week in the Gateway area, returning 11 stolen cars to their owners, making 18 arrests, and seizing 2 guns and 3000 pills containing fentanyl. The problem persists, but we're trying to make a difference!
CLOSE CALL! Officers were not inside this patrol car when the tree fell, no injuries were reported. The officers were out on a call at SE 76/Morrison when this happened.
East Officers tried to stop a vehicle with a fake temp. It eluded officers, the vehicle was spiked and a PIT maneuver stopped the stolen vehicle before anyone was injured. Driver had drugs and a large quantity of cash. He was arrested on multiple felony charges. Well done East!
An investigation with the DEA and PPB narcotics officers led to the seizure of 30,000 fentanyl pills and 2 kilos of powered fentanyl being taken off the street. The value is nearly $100,000. PPB K-9 and East Neighborhood Response Team Officers assisted.

PPB K9 Chase recently alerted to over 21 kilos of methamphetamine during a drug investigation in East Portland. Estimated street value over $2.1 million.
East Precinct Neighborhood Response Team officers conducted a traffic stop at SE 99th/Stark today at 9:50 AM. They discovered an unserialized AR 15 pistol. They discovered the driver is a felon, arrested them and removed another unlawfully possessed firearm from the streets.
This stolen gun was recovered from a convicted felon who was in a stolen vehicle early this morning near SE 44th/Woodstock Blvd. The suspect went to jail on multiple gun charges, possession stolen car, theft 1, unlawful possession of fentanyl, and 2 warrants.

on Saturday capturing 11 stolen vehicles. One stolen recklessly eluded onto Glendoveer public golf course NE 140/Glisan. He was taken into custody on the 14th hole.
This gun was seized this morning about 5a.m. from a 23-year-old female who was found passed out in a stolen vehicle in the middle of SE 44th Av at Holgate. She went to jail on stolen vehicle and gun crimes.
Last night East Precinct Night Shift officers conducted a traffic stop at the States Motel - NE Russell St / 82 Ave. The driver was a drug dealer with multiple fentanyl pills, cocaine, Xanax, MDMA, over $7k in cash, and scales. Also a convicted felon - stolen gun inside the car.
East officers and East NRT were investigating a vacant property where they found 2 subjects with two AR-15s, a ghost gun, large amounts of ammunition and drugs. One AR-15 was stolen. They also recovered 5 stolen vehicles associated with the location. Fantastic work!
East officers have been conducting directed patrol missions when feasible. Yesterday, this directed patrol was in the area of Mall 205. Officers made 6 arrests, recovered 4 stolen vehicles and seized 248 grams of heroin and more than $3200.

East Precinct officers on patrol last night found a stolen vehicle parked with two occupants. Both subjects were safely taken into custody and officers found a loaded Tec-9 had been at the drivers feet. He was a convicted felon and not allowed to carry this weapon legally.
While continuing to work the area East Precinct Neighborhood Responce Team arrest this suspect also leaving Target with $200+ of stolen goods. He staged a Home Depot shopping cart to load the items and defeat the antitheft devices Target have installed on their carts.
WinCo Foods at 1222 NE 102nd Ave with a Theft II custody - $217.69 stolen from the store and recovered. The suspect also had a Robbery II warrant from Multnomah County with 17 counts.
Vehicle eluded East Precinct night shift for 23 minutes, driving recklessly into oncoming traffic, wrong way on one way, speeding 60+ on residential streets and over 100 on the highway. Followed by air unit, stop sticks deflated a tire. Driver and passenger taken into custody.
East Precinct officers were called to an unwanted person in an apartment complex in NE Portland. After first running away and then into a house (that was not his) he was safely taken into custody. He had two guns, one of which was stolen. He was charged with multiple felonies.
East precinct retail theft mission assisted Lululemon in recovering 29k in stolen merchandise from an active organized retail theft ring. Arrested a suspect with a warrant for murder. Total recovery of 31k in stolen product. 28 arrests. 2 successful pursuit apprehensions.
An East K9 officer saw a car with switched plates and attempted a traffic stop. It eluded officers, driving 100mph on Glisan with no cops behind him. The driver dropped off the passenger with a loaded handgun. Both arrested on felony warrants and new charges. The car was stolen.
4/13 Multi agency SVO captured 8 stolen vehicles. 3 vehicles eluding police were pursued and captured - all 3 vehicles were confirmed stolen and 2 had guns in the car. The second half of the mission the SVO assisted the Street Takeover Mission with North Precinct officers.

Last night East Precinct night shift patrol officers stopped a vehicle SE 122 & Division. Driver had a felony arrest warrant for delivery of heroin. In his vehicle 1.14 pounds fentanyl powder, 10.2 grams of fentanyl pills, cash and scales. Now charged with delivery of fentanyl.
Another assist from overnight, Officer Wesson-Mitchell and her recruit Ofcr Deanda noticed a mother, her 6 month old and 9 year old waiting for the bus at SE Stark/148. They had been waiting in the snow for a long time. The officers gave them a ride home to Gresham.

Early this morning night shift officers investigated a suspicious vehicle at a Lents hotel and found a suspect with a cache of loaded guns, silencers, and fake oxycodone pills. The suspect was arrested on charges including unlawful possession of firearms and silencers.

This morning about 2:15, officers stopped a speeder near SE 128/Powell. Driver was felony suspended, so officers arrested him and located this 7.62mm rifle with homemade suppressor and altered serial number. He faces several charges including Felon in Possession of Firearm.

East Precinct just ran a directed patrol at 122/Burnside. The Neighborhood Response Team planned with the Menlo Park Business Association. The goal was retail theft and criminal interdiction. 11 custodies, 13 felony charges, 29 misdemeanor charges, 10 warrants, 7 stolen vehicles.
Today the East Neighborhood Response Team conducted a dedicated patrol around Gateway - a small footprint to interdict criminal activity. This resulted in 6 custodies consisting of retail theft, vehicle elude, foot elude, hit & run, and multiple arrest warrants serviced.
Hard working day shift officers were investigating an occupied suspicious vehicle which turned out to be stolen. The driver ran on foot and tossed a gun into the bushes at McDaniel HS. He was arrested and the gun recovered. His passenger was wearing body armor.
An East officer was injured this morning when he was T-boned by a driver who took a wrong turn on her way to the airport. The other driver was not hurt. She was not impaired, but was issued a traffic citation. Afterward, an officer gave her a courtesy ride to the airport.
Today East Precinct Officers found a stolen truck. We tried a traffic stop and the truck eluded up to Rocky Butte. We were unable to chase him but did get multiple spikes on the tires on the way back down. He didn’t get much further and ran from the truck before being arrested.
A car crashed into a convenience store at SE 102nd Ave and Washington St at about 11:15p.m. No known injuries but the driver ran off. Officers investigating. Case 21-166723
East Neighborhood Response Team assisted US Marshals capture a dangerous fugitive in East Precinct, NE 81/Glisen. Delivery quantity of powder fentanyl located on the suspect after he was taken into custody following a short foot chase. Also a named suspect in a Portland shooting.
$514.89 stolen from Target Mall 205 - now in custody, also an outstanding warrant on a parole violation for smuggling. Suspect attempted to run from the store, however, he was apprehended by the retail theft mission bike patrol.
Another successful joint operation by East Precinct and multiple agencies: 7 stolen vehicles recovered, 7 firearms seized, and 15 arrests made. A testament to effective collaboration in tackling crime. Kudos to all involved!
Great job by East Night Officers last night who stopped a subject in a stolen vehicle at SE 82nd Ave & SE Malden St. The vehicle was taken at gun point earlier from Clackamas Co. Inside the vehicle, were multiple weapons, ammo, illegal drugs, cash and rainbow-colored fentanyl.
