Was on a train just over a year ago, a bloke tried to attack his girlfriend, by the time I got up the other end of the carriage the guard had him in the vestibule and chucked him out at the next stop. Hate to think what would’ve happened if nobody was there
First memory of
@BBC6Music
was
@shaunwkeaveny
arguing with his producer that he should be allowed to bring a donkey into the studio for a real life game of buckeroo. Loved every minute since. My now extensive record collection pays tribute to the music

Only four? When men won the Ashes in 2005 everyone got one. When mens rugby won World Cup in 2003 even those who didn’t play a minute got an honour. Double standards?
Fuck your holiday, fuck your operation, fuck that you’re hungry and might need a food bank, fuck parking your bike, can you all just do as your told and mourn quietly.

Joe Murray had only lost twice, both times to a bloke who has only lost in a world title fight. He's been to Germany and beaten an undefeated Saurland prospect. It was a legitimate fight. First round knockouts happen, its boxing

I was there in November, it needs no investment or upgrade, just leave it to the people who have built it to what it is, collect your rent and everyone is happy
I’ve been largely supportive of
@TheRFL
and referees with clampdown this year, but that one was a shocker, he’s about a foot away when he passes the ball, he can’t just disappear. Not a penalty and nowhere near a card and it’s robbed a try
@WTrinityRL
Apparently Poaching was that disgusted he’s just had the players back out for a thirty minute session running unopposed against the tackle bags. Tackle bags won 18-4
"If you treat us as one homogonous inconvenience - a boil on the nose of London - we shall react as one."
This leader took an awful lot of thought and contemplation and calls on the government to double down on a laser-guided postcode strategy.
I don’t actually blame Andy Last, believe he’s a genuine enough bloke who has given it his best. Unfortunately it was clear from day one he was out of his depth. I blame those who gambled on Wakey been shite all year and taking the cheap option
@JayMitchinson
I’m a republican, but have kept quiet on the subject today, because it isn’t the time for that debate. But when the state broadcaster has 5 channels & 2 are broadcasting one set of tributes & 2 more are broadcasting another set whilst the 5th is taken off air it’s a bit OTT
@Edwina_Currie
I don’t expect any respect for standards in public life from an MP who was shagging the prime minister behind his wife’s back. Clearly been morally bankrupt is not an issue for the Tories

You might’ve noticed pay rises are stagnant and inflation is still rocketing. Profits on the other hand are soaring. Nobody is calling for profit restraint though are they?
RL journos can go fuck themselves. Piling into us straight away. We know we've got issues, we've lived every day of it since the Hardaker story broke on the eve of 2017 GF, let us enjoy this relief for the weekend at least. In Wardy we trust 🐯🐯
I’ve seen Cas beaten far worse than that, but rarely has a loss felt so deflating. Just kept repeating the same failed tactics for 80 mins & nobody had the bollocks to try to change it. No go forward from the pack, everything lateral from the backs & right edge defence paper thin
@HannahRMarston
@UKLabour
Glad you’re covering the major issues affecting Teesside. I’m sure Ben Houchen & his Tory chums who’ve run the area into the ground will be delighted. Asking a young canvasser to define a hugely complex & decisive issue & asking her to leave must make you really proud
It’s a sad state of affairs when you lose both halfbacks and your fullback, you chuck your coaches game plan in the bin and end up looking more threatening than you have all season
Thought Danny Richardson was very good tonight, good organisation and nice to see him taking on the line, and good in field kicking. Hopefully his confidence is coming back, cos he’s some player when he’s on it
Get Danny Orr in and get him in quick. This is only going one way. Absolute zero creativity. With the team we’ve got we should be troubling teams, but we’re nowhere near
Watching these ex-Cas girls rip it up for England really makes me miss that 2019 season. We’ll probably never know what happened off the field, but to see that side broken up was a tragedy
@SherAndLil
Great news. After weeks like this I’m reminded of the quote from an old Ozzie journalist “rugby league must be a great game to survive the idiots that run it”. I would love to see rugby league resurrected in Toronto, it would be such a waste if it didn’t
2 wks shy of 6 years since we won league leaders & ran out top of the table by 10 pts to today ending up bottom of the table & without a coach. The people responsible for the decline of this once great club have a lot of questions to answer. Hope they sleep better than I will
The referee dismissed a player from the field of play for this tackle. That’s right Cas were reduced to 12 men for a period for a player having to receive medical attention after a high late tackle. Absolute madness
@pmpoc
Strikes are taken to highlight the issues to pressure bosses to give a better deal. Striking today will highlight nothing as it will gain no coverage, so it would only lose those on strike a days pay. Better to leave it a couple of weeks til it can get the coverage it needs

Unlike 95% of the national press who love Boris and Brexit, if we’re talking about impartiality in the press that only swings one way, and a regional paper swimming against the tide isn’t going to change that
@curtiswoodhous8
So let me get this straight, you would rather go out and earn a hardworking minimum wage job, leaving your highly qualified wife at home cooking and cleaning, leaving you far poorer into the bargain? Give the 1950's a call, they want their opinions back
@Kevin_Maguire
No sympathy whatsoever, she knows the law and the costs. If the house was bought on the back of the shite she writes, I won't shed a tear that what's she's now written costs her her home
When we went down in 2004 we had some fight, so much so I flew home early from holiday to get to Widnes to us scrap for our lives. If this lot this year were playing outside my front window I’d shut the fucking curtains
@suzyquiquero
Portillo, Michael Denzil Xavier. That is up there with the Dean Windass volley at Wembley to send Hull up. I was just too young to vote in 97, I’m in my 40’s now & have never been able to vote out a conservative government. You don’t know how desperate I am for a general election
The whole thing has been a farce. We now have 5 new blokes through the door in the last 2 weeks who must be wondering what the fuck is going on. We should’ve acted months ago and got in a coach who had the chance to bring in his own players. Big ask for whoever takes the reigns
@ClaudiaWebbe
Would you stand with him on the platform he shared with George Galloway when campaigning against Labour or when he tried to form the Left Unity party to split the Labour movement?
@SueWill1966
@ValueSurplus
I neither liked nor disliked JC, but supported him & backed him as leader, which is the same with Starmer, as I backed Nandy for leader. My question for JC supporters is why can’t you accept that the country overwhelmingly rejected the man & his policies & another way is needed
@MarieAnnUK
Needs arresting. You cause a crash like this in normal traffic through carelessness & you’re up before the beak. There are teams & riders who have prepared for a year for the peak of their careers for this race to potentially have it ruined by some tourist who wanted to be on tv
Looking in that dressing room they look defeated. I’m sorry Andy Last is not the solution. Need someone new to the group who is going to put a fucking rocket up them and get some fire back in them
@ArtCrunchy
The culture around tipping is bizarre. Charge your customers a proper price and pay your staff a proper wage. People shouldn’t feel obliged to tip or guilty for not tipping and if your staff rely on tips to live you’re not paying them enough
I’ve seen us beaten by worse scores, but you always felt players were putting in a shift, they just got bettered. Tonight was different, it looked like some players just gave up, didn’t put in a shift, & that was awful to watch. Not felt this bad watching Cas since 1st relegation
@arghkid
I was lucky enough to see Bowie at Glastonbury in 2000, it was incredible. It would’ve been less incredible if he’d sang space oddity in a Nile Rogers produced Let’s Dance style. Change styles all you want, but play the back catalogue as it was
@AdrianVowles13
@CTRLFC
Absolutely love that our little Yorkshire town can unite a group of blokes on the other side of the world. Love that rugby can make mates for life wherever you come from
No idea what to say about that, at times it was the worst fiver I’ve spent, turns out it could be one of the best. I’m now going to pour a large whisky and google drop goal tutorials to email in to the club
Had a tooth out the other week, it was broken and infected. It took 2 dentists, a tray of tools and half an hour of a agony to remove it. I’d rather repeat that than watch the sky plus of last nights game
I remember Zak Hardaker sitting in the tap room of The Robin Hood in Ponte the day he signed for Leigh, someone said to him you know the headline will be "A Leopard Never Changes Its Spots" the next time you're nicked. He laughed, I bet he's not laughing now
After 8 months of watching Milky lob unthreatening kicks straight into a grateful full backs hands it was great to see a kicking game with some variety and threat. Towering bombs causing trouble Hull's back three and three tries from grubbers

Yes let’s have loads of Stevie Ward’s and Lance Hohia’s retiring with long term concussion injuries so you can be entertained. Too many dinosaurs from a previous era leading the debate on this. Player welfare has to be at the forefront of everything
