A meal out with some of our Don Carlo cast here in Napoli. We are missing our Elisabetta, King and Inquisitor, but I’m sure we will all sit down together one day soon! Our new production premiers Nov. 26 here at the beautiful Teatro San Carlo. Hope you can join us!!

My wife and I have been lucky enough to know and love the wines from Cayuse Vineyards since 2006. This beautiful Rose from 2017 is absolutely gorgeous, and after Giasone’s troubles during Medea today, provided a welcome balm. We have never had a glass that wasn’t spectacular!

Dress rehearsal day for Clemenza di Tito here at the @RaviniaFestival I grew up in this area, and have been to many concerts here with much joy. I’m so looking forward to these shows in front of family and friends, and with such a terrific cast and orchestra! Toi Toi Toi to all!

This area of the world is so beautiful, and I have really been enjoying myself here in Finland. Went to do some exploring and hiking in Punkaharju today, and stopped off at this little cafe on the side of the road. The beer (Sandels) was so fresh and tasty!

I had to laugh after we had a complete run-through of Tosca here in Savonlinna, and I wanted a beer, but didn't have any at home. Upon presenting it to the cashier, she pulled out her phone and showed me this...it was 9:10, and rules are rules. I guess I shoulda thought ahead!!
