as the year draws to an end, i would like to take the chance to reflect on it. 2024 has probably been the best year of my life, i have grown immensely as a person, surpassed my expectations for myself in crypto, and have created beautiful memories with the people close to me irl. this year, i managed to 49x my portfolio, which is something i never thought i would do. a huge thanks to @0xWelfare and his discord server and everyone i met in there for helping make this possible, and @tensor_hq and @MagicEden for the airdrops which helped me achieve this (there were others, these were the main ones). my first tensor airdrop felt surreal to me, i had never seen that amount of money in my wallet before, and despite managing to lose half of it the coming months, i ended the year multiples above even that. this was the year i actually started airdrop farming, and without it who knows where i would be. a thank you to @CC2Ventures and @0xnouveau for getting me into airdrop farming, as well as @shady_oak1 and @xziqh . the quote “a retard with a million dollars is still a retard” inspired me to also grow as a person (despite the fact that i am far from a million dollars). to this end, i started journaling and believe i have grown an incredible amount; becoming a more thoughtful, mindful and greatful person. i tryo to no longer take things for granted, and fully appreciate everything i have in life (especially the small things and moments), along with trying to be more present and living in the moment. part of that was achieved via journalling, and the rest through some philosophical conversations with friends. crypto as a whole has been pivotal for my self development, and at times has even made me lose touch with reality in terms of money; on ct it is just thrown around as a worthless commodity, so my job at mcdonalds really helps provide some perspective, and kinda teaches me that for most people, it isn't super easy to get money. whilst the idea of locking in sounds appealing to most here, a lot of people don't realise they are actually lucky to get a chance to lock in - a coal miner in kazakhstan wishes for the opportunities you have now. don't just do things because you want to - do them because you have a chance. and in terms of actual memories and substantial irl things done, this has probably been my best year so far, i tried to experience as many new things as possible. did a lot of fun things with close friends, made some core memories and will probably always remember 2024 as a pivotal year for my life as a whole. happy new year.
