1908年5月3日，臺灣飛行先驅楊清溪誕生日 楊清溪是高雄右昌人，就讀明治大學時對飛行産生興趣，之後進入東京多摩郡立川飛行學校，於1933年取得二等飛行士執照。 1934年購得日本陸軍退役偵査機，整修後命名「高雄號」，成爲第一個擁有私人飛機的臺灣人。
