David Lynch was one of the first directors I felt connected to when I really started paying attention to movies. Much like Bowie, he just felt like a permanent fixture in the universe that would somehow go on forever. What a brilliant career and human being.

@doomedparade He was friendly with Vinnie and Darrell. They all worked in Texas often, and their tours went through many of the same venues right after one another.

@TheLastMachine I rewatched Dirty Work last month for a much-needed laugh, and I can confirm it is still brilliant. Love Norm. I was wildly unprepared for how emotional that last special made me — cried as much as I laughed.
