@ciaobellaja Most Black Americans don't believe in all that mumbo jumbo rootwork witchcraft stuff. Black Americans(especially in the South) are traditionally devout protestants. And the Black church has many unique traditions, including influencing the gospel genre as we hear it today.

We aren't a part of their "diaspora", we have our own diaspora. They need to stay out of our business altogether. And better yet, stay in their own countries.
The diaspora is way too comfortable trying to lecture Black Americans about anything, really. It's okay to sit certain conversations out. Your commentary isn't always needed.
