Things that didn’t happen, my goodness. Let’s try to stop the revisionism that Marvel had it “all together” leading into Endgame. It’s simply not true. They worked to make sure it all worked in the end, but planned from the beginning? Nope. Thanos was Whedon’s idea for start.
It’s so clear after rewatching The Avengers that this saga was planned from the beginning and it was planned beautifully from start to finish. I only pray they regain that spark.

Any time I see someone talk about “filler” episodes, I want to scream. Filler isn’t the word. Character centric episodes of tv aren’t a bad thing. TV shows are made to hang with characters, enjoying their antics. They’re not movies, they don’t need to be streamlined.
Sorry but none of the truly great shows have seasons that are 22 episodes long. You're all really just begging for the return of filler episodes? I don't get it. It's like advocating for pushing TV, as a medium of storytelling, backwards.

This whole storyline played to me on such a personal level. I’ve been thinking about it a lot since I left the theater. The intense need/want to make something work that just…can’t, won’t, or shouldn’t, because life is different now…And the acceptance to move forward.
What Gunn did with Gamora 2.0 is very painful. He takes a story decision from different people and doesn't take the easy way out by backtracking it, but instead uses it to say something very personal about falling out of love, growing apart, and not recognizing eachother anymore.
