Im guess extracting crud oil from the ocean then burning it to create fuel then burn it again for combustion. Not to mention all the bill oil spills populating the ocean. All this is so much cleaner than mining lithium which can be recycled over and over again🥴

It’s pretty clear. People want EVs but they are not cheap enough and people are buying them used.
Buying an EV for a daily driving even if it gives 200 miles per charge. Coming home and plug it in can save close to $3000 a month in fuel.
Not to mention the maintenance.

98,000 miles properly equals too $1,500 worth of miles. Even If you were able to keep the miles it would take you 5 years to use them up saving $300 bucks a year. As a realtor I think you will do just fine.

Left with $10k a year.
Not including. Just a normal Friday night out, clothing, home essential, gas, maintenance of house, or kid expenses.

Lithium is actually 2 to 5 percent of the material used in batteries most of it nickel and iron. Which is why batteries can be recycled and if enough lithium mined you can use it over and over again without mining more.

We have a Honda accord in our family for 19 years. We bought the car brand new with 5 miles on it. Now the car has 230,000 miles on it. Purchase price of the car $31,000. Gas, plus maintenance, inspection and parts cost us $50,000 over the 19 years. Something to think about.

Biggest flaw is charging infrastructure. Americans won’t shop for a EV unless there’s a charger 5 mins away from them. Yes people can charge are home but alot of them live in rentals properties. Some single family homes panels are built in the basement. Cost to run a wire from
