One of our older learners used her creativity & problem solving skills to design and make a robin sculpture using clay and sticks after observing a robin in the woodland! #leadersoflearning

Mrs Wilson supported P5a to learn about birds that live or feed on our grounds during their pupil led brain break. We made bird dials & used them to identify birds. There were SO many different species, leading to discussions about biodiversity & simple food chains!

P2a have been super scientists today, exploring the force of friction through an experiment. They had lots of fun testing the friction of different surfaces in our playground and we had a good discussion about how to make it a "fair" experiment that could create accurate results!

P7b explored wind power through our topic and created our own wind powered vehicles to see how well the harnessed the power of the wind. #achieving

This morning P6/7 got together with their P1 buddies to create some art work related to Valentines day🥰

P4/5 and P3C buddied-up this morning to create some cosmic space art. We used glue and salt to create texture on a planet shape, then added paint and watched it mix and spread! We ended up with some spectacular planets! #creativity #collaboration

P3C have been making sure they know how to eat well. We looked at what we could add to our lunch to make it even healthier. 🥦🍓🍏

Today in Primary 5A every single pupil was values champion! The resilience showed by all at our yesterday was incredible! You should all be so proud of yourselves for walking across the Forth Road Bridge! Well done🏆⭐️

P7A: Today we were continuing to research Scottish Islands. We have worked successfully in partners and now we will create a presentation to share the information with the rest of the class. #achieving

Today P6/7 held a class election. Over the past week pupils have worked on manifestos which describe improvements to our local area. Today we invited in pupils from P6a, P6b, P7a and P7b to vote for the political party they agree with. We will find out the results tomorrow!

P7b's values champion has shown great improvement and understanding of adding and subtracting fractions this week, great job!
