All my main platforms I use and community resources I've made, including my LAN guide and JP VODs spreadsheet, are listed on my Linktree:
Going forward indefinitely, I'll only be using this account to promote content and repost important community resources and updates from time to time.
If you want to keep up with me you I'll be on:
Just to put things into perspective, this means you'll be able to grab a drink from tacticooler even if you're standing about this far away from it
This buff will go crazy
In support of the triple inkstrike uprising here's a reminder / showcase that you can layer all 3 strikes to land at once by throwing the first one up high, just like with bomb launcher in Splatoon 2
Nah bro I've had enough anyone tweeting that this patch is bad actually cannot read LOOK AT THE BUG FIXES THE GAME MIGHT ACTUALLY FUNCTION AS INTENDED NOW
"Let's push up"
-Basic callout
-You're just giving me a command
-Might be confused with the work out
"Go do crime"
-Gets your attention
-Motivational
-What crimes will be committed? That's for the opponent to find out
Wait why are we immediately calling this new map shit? Sure it's still overall line shaped but that's just not changing so get used to it lol, overall I'm seeing a lot more movement options than we're used to, this looks honestly decent
With two strong splash wall weapons on the horizon, now's a good time to learn about or refresh your brain on some splash wall tech, so I made a short about my favorite trick!

There's a powerful trick with wavebreaker where if you position it at the right height on a ramp, you can hit an area of high ground with the waves with them being essentially invisible to enemies.
Audio explanation in clip, expect a proper video on this later this week 👀
Surprised they didn't mention anything about the sounds associated with the debuff because that's highkey obnoxious and useful lmao, messing with color is one thing but at least for players like me interfering with audio will be super disorienting and seems even stronger
You have 4 weekends to go for the grand prize in the
#Splatoon2
Inkopolis Showdown 2022 tournament! The top teams will get their tentacles on prizes like a Splatoon-themed gaming chair,

, a trophy, and more! 🏆
Just woke up to already see people have loser mentality over new kits so instead of arguing I'll post this convenient chart so you can easily figure out what's actually going on in their heads!
Also just saying I think if casuals keep pointing out that the comp community seems unnecessarily negative then its a good idea to listen and consider that. An angry paragraph about why the game is """bad""" only furthers that sentiment and idk why we keep doing this
I've started compiling a database of many prominent players from the Japanese scene who stream / upload regularly, along with extra resources. Many people don't know where to look for VODs to study, and my hope is that this will help people out with that!
Regardless of perspective, banning a special from tournaments only 3 days after release, and before it's even debuted itself in competitive events, feels way too soon. Never in my 8 years of competing have I seen a debate be forced so aggressively. Any decision set a precedents
1 hour of play and only one shield death and it was a guy who was teleporting so that's expected. Fighting other brellas also feels significantly harder. The class really might be working as intended.
Holy shit
I'm really loving how they're making more details obvious in Splat 3. Specials are very loud and glowy, many AoE hitboxes have highlighted radius indicators, respawn/roll "invulnerability" has a clear glow on the player, and much more. Making the game easier to understand is huge
Bros will complain for 3 months about not having enough kits in the game and then proceed to declare new ones "dead" before they're even added into the game, pick a struggle lmfao
I keep seeing depression posts about dread slinger having reefslider, but I'm just saying the idea of making everyone around you take 70 damage then trading with all of them as you get your one flick slosh off sounds pretty funny for a weapon designed for flick sloshes
Waiting for the day more people realize just how insane of a main weapon glooga actually is. It’s one of those weapons that pokes its head up in JP events time and time again but doesn’t get considered here outside of a couple specialists
New season trailers/announcements have historically been between the 14th and 16th of the prior month, so we're likely getting new season info anytime next week. Place your hopes and copium wishes now
Still taking so much in here, like y'all there are 15 new specials. FIFTEEN. AT LAUNCH. Kit diversity and combos are going to be endless, and for all we know there could be even more
