We designed the Pig Brig Trap System with portability and ease of setup in mind, making one trap sufficient in most cases. But there are certain situations when a second Pig Brig Trap System is needed for success in a single location or a given area.

Feral pigs are incredibly adaptable and can thrive in a variety of habitats, including urban & suburban areas. They’ve been spotted in parks, golf courses, & even near residential neighborhoods, causing property damage & posing risks to people and pets.

Winter is the best time to trap wild pigs. Foraging for food in winter’s harsh conditions can be challenging. When natural food is hard to find, hogs are more likely to flock to bait piles. This makes winter ideal to set your trap & protect your land.

The secret to successful hog trapping? Conditioning. Let hogs get comfortable, keep bait consistent, and avoid disturbing the area too much. Patience pays off with bigger catches and fewer left behind.

To beat the wild hog problem, you have to tackle the root of the issue: catching the whole sounder. Wild pigs are incredibly smart and learn to adapt quickly. Leaving even a few behind means they’ll quickly regroup, breed, and keep causing trouble.

Fact or Myth? Feral pigs only eat plants. Myth! Fact: Wild pigs are omnivores with big appetites. They’ll eat plants, crops, insects, bird eggs, small mammals, and even carrion. This diverse diet contributes to their spreading disease and devastating environmental impact.
