my 2c on ai - OS will ALWAYS win. winning org recipe is fast, non-credentialized team of high agency people doing research out of passion rather than chasing money/citations, laser focus on efficiency, attached as an arm to a cashcow machine. only thing that matters is raw perf and efficiency - everything else including alignment, safety is moot. compute is always king. in era of high efficiency, you either get 100x better training or reroute to inference to serve.
