Congress said we need plumbers and electricians, not influencers. They said put your phones down and pick up some pliers and a wrench. Seriously though, the responses to the #TikTok "shutdown" reveal the ways we fail to teach economics and how we excel at teaching xenophobia.

I'd love to know how @Meta setup their fact- checking dept. Did they consult with good journalists? Did their fact checkers go through unconscious bias training to be able to understand that their perception does not always make something true or false. I'd love to see a report.

The National Archives need help. The chirren can't read cursive, so there's a backlog of docs that need transcription. *sigh* "Artificial intelligence is starting to be able to read cursive but only with human help, said the National Archive’s Sullivan."

Insurance claims take so long to process when natural disasters happen. Between these crazy snowstorms and the LA wildfires, we need local gov't interference on property insurance. It may need to be part of county taxes. Praying for everyone who's lost loved ones and homes.

I just watched this wild ass movie on Prime called TIJUANA JACKSON: PURPOSE OVER PRISON and it was a delightfully dumb film. A hood Borat if you will. And the message around recidivsm still was there. Regina Hall and Tami Roman are great.

People are inherently good. All people want to be apart of something bigger than themselves. We seek meaning and purpose. Unfortunately, on that search, some people participate in destruction instead of generation. I have to remind myself of this every time I watch the news.
