MEA/MoD has consistently convinced multiple PMs that it is better for national interest to import, win intl leverage & keep forces happy than push indigenous solutions & make the country self reliant.

1 particular guest on his show got more people doing Naam-Jap than all the boomers of India combined have managed. He's influential. Which is why a social reprimand, as has occurred, rather than shutting down his business is preferable. He's not a nonce. Just horrible at comedy.
