Paris High senior Kobe Savage finished on the medal stand at the Class 4A track meet with his 3rd-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 38.91.
This is the first time in school history that both Paris High boys and girls soccer teams have advanced 3 playoff rounds deep during the same season. It's the 2nd straight year the Ladycats have advanced to the regional quarters and the first time for the Wildcats since 2012.

Paris Wildcats,DOA after being down 28-45 with 3 minutes left in 3Q, go on 26-0 run sparked by Jeremarious Morgan and Dearius Dudley off the bench to eventually lead 64-50 and ultimately win last night's 70-60 Region 2 quarterfinal over the Henderson Lions.

If I had a vote, Cam Jones would get mine for district MVP and All-Region. He may not have the stats for All-State consideration, but his floor leadership this year was All-State worthy. He leaves big shoes to fill at point guard.
Former Paris Wildcat standout Phillip Sikes had a 9th-inning walkoff RBI single to send TCU to a 7-6 win over Kansas State in the opening round of the Big 12 baseball tournament. The rightfielder leads the 15th-ranked Frogs in batting average, extra-base hits, and RBI.
Jalen Gray's win in the Class 4A boys 400 meters yesterday was the first state track and field event championship for Paris High since the Wildcats won the 4x200M relay in 2013, setting a Class 3A record in the process.
Jaelyn Lee, who finishes his Paris High career as the school's second all-time career scorer with 1,737 points, has been named to the Class 4A boys basketball all-state team by Texas coaches (TABC).
Despite the 22-16 season-opening loss to top-ranked Class 4A-2 Pleasant Grove, the Cats' performance drew some encouraging praise from Hawks' head coach Josh Gibson: "Paris is good enough to win a state title in the division above us."

North Forney, coached by PHS alumni Ryan Moffitt, provided a tough test today before the Paris Wildcats (13-4) pulled away late for the 66-52 win. Jaelyn Lee (19 points) and Trevon Dennis (23 points) provided the scoring punch.

Paris Wildcat Jaelyn Lee wins the boys long jump at today's Region 2-4A Track and Field Championships in Commerce with a best leap of 24-4.75. He returns to the state finals on May 12 in Austin after finishing 4th in last year's state championship.
Paris Wildcats (28-8) used their defense and running game to overpower Tyler Cumberland Tuesday, 67-40, in a Class 4A bi-district playoff game at Sulphur Springs.
Paris High's Kobe Savage turned in the 2nd best winning time (39.27) among all Class 4A state qualifiers in the boys' 300-meter hurdles. Only Cameron Everts of Lampasas posted a better time (38.82). The state finals will be May 11 in Austin.

6-3 senior Gavyn Hollje scored the first 10 points for Paris in the Wildcats' 76-42 win Friday night over Willis in a championship bracket quarterfinal at the Paris Holiday Tournament.
Paris High senior Graham Bain placed second in the state essay contest sponsored by the Air Force Association. His entry won at the North Texas regional level and advanced to state where he wins an additional $1,000.
