sometimes found behind a Nikon, checking out old ruins or walking around the beautiful city of Limerick but mainly seen screaming my head off in Thomond Park.
After the game last night, Donncha was asked by a media person to wave at someone in the terrace as he walked down the tunnel. Instead, DOC sought out the person, opened the gate to the terrace and went up to them. Shook hands, chatted & stood in for pics. Giant amongst heros.
All Blacks coach Ian Foster was asked about Ireland's 'three Kiwis' in their starting XV, last night
"I only saw three Irish players," he answered back ☘️
Today at Thomond Park was one of the great days to be at Thomond Park
At 2:30 I thought it was going to be a mediocre crowd, by kick off it was close to full The noise was unreal, celebrating turnovers, knock-ons like they were scores
It was a proper club day and victory

The morning after the day before, still no blame, hard fought game, lousy to lose on penalties but what at game, what an atmosphere, sea of red.
So proud of everyone at Munster Rugby, the backroom staff, the coaches, players, fans and the Supporters Club.

There's a former member, who would love to be in a position to have an opinion on the current commissioner, unfortunately he lost that opportunity as he was murdered in Adare while on duty.
If you're coming to the game today, you'll see these for the first time. Please don't be offended, people taking their seats during play is one of our biggest complaint topics.
I see history being re-written again today, this time in relation to how Munster destroyed Joey. No mention of his injuries or how badly Schmidt treated him in the 2019 RWC.
All I can say, it was a pleasure to watch him when he was fully fit for us and a real shame to see him go
The IRFU missed a beat in not appointing Darcy as Nucifora 's replacement, he has all the answers.
I reckon we'd be on for a double RWC if he got the job.
I see a so called journalist made a donkey of himself again yesterday.
I wonder did he tweet about Ian McKinley not singing Ireland's Call while standing with his Italian team mates
Will he comment on Joe Schmidt not singing Ireland's Call while coaching NZ v Ireland.
🤡 🤡 🤡
This is what's wrong with RTE and the product they're trying to sell.
Obviously, they don't need full positivity but very few teams go to the RDS and win, that should be acknowledged and be the talking point.
Despite their win over Leinster, Eddie O'Sullivan still feels
@UlsterRugby
have underlying problems in 'putting teams under pressure' and finishing them off when 'your foot is on the throat'

This is 12,000 more than would have got into Thomond Park to see this match live.
MR and the MRSC have done trojan work this last few weeks to achieve those ticket sales.
It's a joy to be a part of it.

There's a Leinster fan in front of me, hasn't cheered his team once but he's continuously moaning about Munster players
I reckon he posts on the rugby forum on Boards.
I can't get over the negativity to hearing an Aldi store is going to open in the city centre.
The city has been crying out for an Aldi or Lidl, it's being built on a car park and it will bring footfall to another corner of the city.
Obviously I'm happy for the players but I'm absolutely delighted for Rowntree & co, they've introduced new systems and we've left points behind us in earlier matches that are putting us under pressure in the table but we dug that out tonight. Huge, huge win.
Thoughts on the Irish Squad
In a squad of 40+ players you'd have to ask what does Kleyn, Haley and Hodnett need to do to get into it.
Other than that, can't wait for the RWC and see us get past the QFs
Disappointing end to a fantastic day. No blame. Aside from the result had a fantastic day in the Aviva. Well done to all involved
@Munsterrugby
@MRSC16
and thanks for the effort you made to get close to 40,000 to the game.

We can get very close to our politicians, incidents like this may reduce that accessibility to us.
I'm not a fan of Leo, I'm not a fan of a lot of politicians but in my wildest dreams I can't see myself ever doing something like that.
I really hope she's held accountable
To put our draw with Exeter in context, they've won their 6 premiership games with BP wins. They top their league by PD.
They only scored one try yesterday, 10 points in total and no score in the 2nd half.
Our defence was excellent, esp in the dying mins.

In Ireland we really love to force people to commercial rest areas, on the continent, there are rest areas with playground, toilets and dog walking facilities to encourage rest breaks but in Ireland we like to be a nanny state
Dublin Limerick train with loads of Munster & Bayonne fans coming to Thomond Park
Gotta love the "Heineken Cup" days even with the attempts by the organisers to destroy it.

At the Leinster match the Munster subs ran out to warm up during the game, a guy next to me was dismissive of our bench
I highlighted Billy Holland on it as a great guy to have come on - he wasn't for agreeing.
After the last two games I wonder had he changed his view of Billy.
@DUPleader
I wouldn't be a SF supporter but why do you think it's an either or situation. Wales have schools & hospitals and they also have a Welsh Language Act
Post offices, shops, pubs, schools, garda stations have been closing in rural Ireland and in other cities for years, one pub closes in Dublin and it's like the end of the world.
@laherne84
First card was for attempting/taking a sideline puck when the Clare defender hadn't moved away from the spot.
2nd one, Clare guy got taken out by a sniper after the ref blew the whistle, died almost immediately.
People of Limerick, stop shopping in Dunnes Stores until their Sarsfield St unit is operational again
A while generation has never seen it open yet it can't be on a list of vacant sites.
Walk by it and see for yourself how vacant it is
"It feels natural, this is a proper club steeped in history."
• Disguising his ears
• The language barrier
• Thomond Park atmosphere
Graham Rowntree is absolutely loving life at
@Munsterrugby
!
Sensational interview 😂

Morning after the day before and kudos to our defence coach for yesterday's performance, we didn't play particularly well but we were top notch in defence .
#SUAF
What annoys me most about our SF yesterday was how
@btsportrugby
went out if it's way to almost make Billy Vunipola the victim.
They owe their viewers a huge apology in how they handled their coverage.
One interviewer was seen apologise to him for the interview.
Game day, nothing beats a H/Cup day in Thomond Park. Early start for a lot of fans travelling home for it, drive carefully and safe journey.

Lest there be any doubt about the hurt felt by some project players when their right to play for another country is questioned, have a listen to CJ on the Late Late.
The hurt was visible.
Exeter, top of Premiership table, 9 BP wins out of 10 wins, top (50 in 12 games) try scorers this season.
Over both fixtures Munster win 6-3 and hold them to two tries in 160mins of rugby.
Hard to complain with that.
BT made a bit of a song & dance about a few supporters booing the ref at halftime. They failed to mention the fans who congratulated the Munster coaches on the final whistle. The minority should not define the club or the fans
After all this craziness is over wouldn't it be great if supermarkets, department stores, retail parks, DIY & electric superstores close on Sundays
Give us one day a week for the family
Eamon Ryan must live in an urban areas that is well lit
Rural Ireland hasn't the infrastructure for people to exercise after work within 5km not to mind reducing it to 2km
ℹ️ Eamon Ryan mentions the possibility of reducing the exercise limit from 5km to 2km, if the Level 5 restrictions do not sufficiently lower the number of new cases.

Nice touch by Earls tonight, when Roux was returning from his sin bin, Earls gave him the thumbs up. That's rugby
In saying that I thought it was a red card, like to head ref's reasoning for only a yellow
Listening to Craig Doyle on BT Sports you'd think this was not of Saracens making.
Is you want to feel for a team that was hard gone by think of the Welsh teams who have play their first two pool games without their internationals
Great game, huge intensity from start to finish.
Lots of high balls and intensity in attack & defence yet no foul play or cards - super game of rugby and fair play to both teams & ref
We caught up with former Hopper Mike Haley and his dad Tim following Munster's superb victory in the URC Final in Cape Town on Saturday. Well done Mike from all at Hoppers!

Welcome to Limerick, shame that your fans got such late notice about increased capacity. They were very welcoming in Coventry.
Just drove past
@thomondstadium
a few hours before kick off and it's close to being deserted.
What a day it would be if fans were allowed in, sun shining, Toulouse in town, Munster backs to the wall.
If Carlsberg did H/C matches...
