Phew! 8 days later I have finally finished the fixtures for next season!
The most complex set I have ever done with 3 different start dates calculated (5th, 12th & 19th Sept) and fitting 38 rounds into 30 available Saturdays! (Allows FAV 2 Sats).
Just praying not done in vain !

Mighty relieved that my son Stephen is now in Dubai after spending the last 2 weeks at Kabul Airport in his role with the RAF

Mixed feelings this morning Ben, for the first time in 30 years I did not vote labour, switching to Green in St Davids who won the seat. My reason? Labours silly suit all policy on Brexit. Sad to switch vote, but Green policy is solid, Labours is as clear as mud.

Eldest daughter Martina gave birth to Archie, 7lbs 14oz at Aberdeen Hospital.
Got the time to visit her in jock land but, and others far worse off, but can't go and visit due to Covid 😞

The weather and "mother nature" always pose a risk to fixtures, but why are so many games arranged for midweek in the Dec / Jan / Feb period?
Even if they get played, the potential to damage pitches for weekend games, and more often than not postponed anyway.
