Apropos of nothing. The best music show on the radio is @MickeyUndertone on @bbcradioulster and available via @BBCSounds - If you’re a fan of all things Indie, New Wave, Punk, Rock, and so on from 60s to present day. So, you may need to be of a certain age. I never miss it

There seems to have been a serious decline in the reliability and quality of these flood warnings since the pandemic. I believe they switched to automated posts, and you can’t beat feet on the ground. Was this because of cost-cutting @EnvAgencyMids ?
Come on @EnvAgency. People who live at #floodrisk need accurate flood levels. Some reports from people on the #riverSevern that they are a foot below the actual levels. This is far from helpful!

Let's talk about floods and climate change in the Midlands. Last night I showed just a decade of Severn levels in Worcester (where we were live) and every red dot is a flood event in the city. They're getting more frequent. I said you could do this for any midlands river... 1/7
