@RealJoeMoss Commissioner, neither does the executive branch get to make up laws. That’s the job of the legislative branch. If Trump wants to overturn laws, he needs to get the House and Senate to do so. He should stop trying to rule as a dictator, and go find the votes. Basic stuff.

@DistillSocial I was sent out mail to my constituents talking about the enhancement grants I’d gotten for my district and Kent County. Was proud to support the airport, bike trails, museums, the zoo, fire stations and so much more. Uplifting our communities with our tax dollars isn’t “pork.”

Parents deserve to know if their kids are going to schools where anti-publichealth parents are sending their unvaccinated & possibly contagious children. I have bills that will give parents vaccination rate information so they can make wise decisions to keep their kids safe.

Trump pardoned hundreds of violent extremist criminals who are now robbing, murdering and raping across America. We have a resolution in the State House condemning the pardons, but Republicans refused to give it a vote. Michigan Republicans are complicit with the J6 crime wave.
A 4th man Trump pardoned for Jan 6 arrested for rape — judge denies bond, sets June trial. Dillon Herrington, nicknamed "MAGA Lumberjack," is charged with raping a woman who was blacked out and did not consent. He was armed with a military knife and stun gun on Jan 6 when he assaulted Capitol Police. Dillon Herrington threw objects at police officers, including a full water bottle, an unidentified object pulled from a box marked “Danger High Voltage,” and a 4 x 4 piece of lumber. He pleaded guilty to assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and was sentenced to 37 months in prison — but was then arrested for rape on December 28, 2024. There is nothing weird -- certainly not "illegal" -- about faith-based organizations receiving funds to execute on congressionally-authorized government grant programs. Republicans used to call it 1000 Points of Light.
